The National Service Scheme (NSS) is an important co-curricular activity at PM SHRI GIC Tarpalisain, designed to develop the personality and sense of social responsibility among students through community service. Introduced by the Government of India in 1969, the NSS program works under the Ministry of Youth Affairs and Sports. The motto of NSS is “Not Me, But You”, which reflects the spirit of selfless service, cooperation, and social harmony. At our school, students enrolled in NSS actively participate in cleanliness drives, plantation campaigns, awareness rallies, disaster management training, and social outreach programs in nearby rural areas. These activities aim to instill values of leadership, discipline, teamwork, and civic responsibility in students. NSS helps in shaping students into socially aware and active citizens who contribute meaningfully to nation-building and community development.
Students participate in:
- Cleanliness and Swachh Bharat campaigns
